I love a Turtle chocolate… 

But when I found out the ingredients in them, I could no longer indulge! There’s no wonder they’re highly addictive with ingredients like

Corn Syrup, Sugar, Artificial Ingredients, Caramel Color, Soy Lecithin, Palm Oil, Butter Oil, Sodium Caseinate, and more 

These ingredients really aren’t fit for human consumption and are fed to us on a daily basis. Around the holidays especially because many companies market their products with shiny packages and nostalgic taglines to keep you in the 
“It’s only once a year” mindset.

But that’s not true. Halloween comes, and we are bombarded with candy consumption, followed by thanksgiving to which we are also pushed to consume, then late Nov hits and the shelves fill with all the holiday treats that will stay there until after new years.. 

basically, 4 months of temptation that you are supposed to ignore?

Well that’s not realistic now, is it?

So how do we get away from this?

It’s all about reading and understanding ingredients and what they do to the body. Checking your labels and deciding if its actually worth consuming those store bought products they market to you as treats, but are really harming you

That’s why I had to create my own version of the classic turtle with no added garbage! Something you can make a huge batch of to keep you satisfied all holiday long and even spread the cheer by sharing them with people so they can experience what real ingredients taste like!
