Hey! I’m Sarah

I’m all about nourishing our bodies from within, one happy gut at a time. Why? Because I’ve been there – battling bloating, anxiety, and confusion about what’s best for my belly. But fear not!

My gutsy transformation sparked an unwavering mission to guide YOU on your own vibrant path to gut health and beyond

I started my coaching practice as a way to connect people to a community where they feel safe. A place to start or continue their healing journey with guidance and support from not only me but others experiencing the same pains. To build a community where people can be 100% them.

The more I study and the more clients I help, I see so clearly how interconnected it all is.

Mindfulness. A place where I feel in control over the things I choose to put in my body. Empowered to know how healing foods, thought, sleep, movement, and supplements can be.

I am so grateful that I now understand what the power of thought is capable of. I went through so many of my discomforts alone. It took me a very long time to realize the direct link between our brain and the gut. How not feeling supported or loved makes all the difference. Not only that but the literal gut brain connection that effects so much of our health!

I Was At My Worst

 

  • Poor nutrition
  • Painful Bloating For Hours, constipation, gas
  • Cravings for everything “bad,”
  • Skin always breaking out in hives. Upset stomach to the point I was crying on the floor
  • Doctor visits with nothing to show
  • Food sensitivities that just seemed to get worse as time went on.
  • Weight gain and inflammation

But good news for you, is if you are dealing with any or all of the same things I did, then you are in the right place!

It wasn’t even that long ago when I was hunched over grabbing my stomach or curled in a ball on the floor. Begging for anything to help take the pain away. To just feel normal.

My stress was so high, my nutrition was just shit, and I couldn’t seem to do anything but make excuses for why I felt like garbage. I was stuck in a cycle of overwhelm and nervous system dysregulation. I knew I needed to do something different but what?

Working 12-16hr days, sleeping very little, addicted to all the toxic crap and still pretending that even my processed plant based nutrition was making me healthy, so I was fine.  Soon the rashes came, then the hives all over my body. The BV and consistent weight gain. The doctors visits were met with prescriptions that I would never take

A never ending road to misery, and one that I was done travelling. The naturopath I saw did what most do and what most coaches do too. Put me on an elimination protocol so strict I felt like I was a shell of a human.

Never addressing the root cause. Symptoms got better, but they only came back months later. My true healing didn’t come from that process

It sure wasn’t food restriction and elimination diets. It wasn’t taking mass amounts of supplements and eating lbs of veggies a day. It wasn’t even the colonics and juicing I did.

Though, they all helped peel back layers. There were deeper things at work that even those things couldn’t fix

Nothing changed until I looked inward, that everything changed.

what inspired me to become a coach?

My Own Journey

 

Finally healing after years spent addicted to processed foods, alcohol, cigarettes & chronic stress had me hating myself and my body.

Empathy

 

I’ve always had the ability to feel deeply, to connect and tap into others energetic state. A gift I do not take lightly. This allows me to care and truly understand others. 

Passion

 

I have a huge love of nutrition and studying health. My passion burns bright and every day I love to expand my knowledge and critically think to challenge even my own views on health to better my scope of practice to better help others
