Ingredients

Tomato Free Marinara, Pasta or Pizza Sauce

  • 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 Cloves Garlic (Minced)
  • 1 White Onion (Chopped)
  • 2 1/2 Cups (5 Organic) Carrots (Chopped)
  • 1 1/4 Cup (3 Stalks Organic) Celery
  • 1 1/4 Cup (2 Small) Beets (Cubed)
  • 2 tsp Fresh Basil
  • 2 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Ground Corriander
  • 2 tsp Dry Parsley
  • 2 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1.5 Cups Water or Veg Broth
  • 2-3 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice

Directions

  1. Using olive oil sauté onion and garlic in a pan
  2. After 4-5 minutes add the carrots, beets, and celery. Continue to sauté for another 5 minutes
  3. Add water or broth and spices. Stir, cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until vegetables are nice and tender
  4. Take off heat. For a thick sauce (like pizza or paste) Pour off most of water
  5. Put into blender and blend on high until sauce is smooth

This delicious sauce is perfect for AIP diets along with any plant based diet. Completely allergen free! Put it on pizza, pasta, potatoes and more. The possibilities are endless.
