Ingredients

 

  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Yellow Onion, Chopped
  • 2 Garlic Cloves Whole
  • Dried or Fresh Mushrooms of Any Kind
  • Carrot Chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Tamari
  • 1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Turmeric Fresh Or Powder
  • Fresh Ginger
  • 3 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast
  • Seaweed (Kombu, Wakame)
  • Filtered Water to fill the pot

 

Directions

    In a crock pot, toss all the ingredients in and set on low for 6-8hrs You can make in a normal pot or Dutch oven, however this means consistently checking in on it.
      With this recipe, I mix it up all the time. Different types of mushrooms and seaweed. As well, I often use any trimmings of vegetables that I have saved.
      I keep them in a bag in my freezer until I am ready to use them. Feel free to add whatever vegetables you want, it can only add to the benefits!
      Keep in mind the more you have in the pot the less water will fit and that means less broth.
      Use this broth for everything! On its own as a sipper, You can add miso paste for even more gut healing. Cook rice in it, Use in place of water for any savory receive, and obviously use as your stock!
